Halsey (2)

So, Twenty One Pilots hosted the countdown this week, and I’ve gotta say, they are pretty funny. For some reason, Josh Dunn had a better radio voice than Tyler Joseph, even though Tyler is the lead singer, but I guess everybody’s different. As for the countdown, we had a pretty big drop that I wasn’t happy about, a certain song is really close to the top 15, which makes me nervous, and as you can see, I’m still not too happy about our #1. With that, here are the songs that are leaving:

Our first new song wasn’t on Hit-Bound, but it was on the poll for a very long time. Its Limitless by Jennifer Lopez. This song is great. Jennifer Lopez sounds great here, and the song is just overall very catchy. My only problem with this one is that it’s 5 minutes long, that being said, it's 5 minutes of a pretty good song.

The second song, at #31, we have Alessia Cara’s Trust My Lonely. I find this one is a little weird, but I’ve gotten used to it from Growing Pains. This one’s okay though. I like Alessia Cara’s voice, but I wish she would show it off more. I prefer her older songs.

Best Debut Of The Week: Jennifer Lopez - Limitless

Biggest DROP!!!: The Struts/Kesha - Body Talks (-18): Oh boy. I’m sad about this one. It was doing so well. Unfortunately, it wasn’t really a hit, so it was never expected to do well. That being said, it did surprisingly well so I’m happy with how it did.

Biggest Jump: Imagine Dragons - Machine (+13): Well, whatever. It’s Imagine Dragons. You can’t expect them to not do well. I don’t really care how this one does. Although I really wish they would pick up Bad Liar. I honestly don’t know why they didn’t pick it up. Eh. Oh well.

My Top 5 Picks

#5: Ariana Grande - breathin

Blurb My Lonely

For the exits, we lost Olly Murs - Moves and The Chainsmokers/Emily Warren - Side Effects. Moves was great, and I’m really sad it did terribly. As for Side Effects, I didn’t really care about that, so you know, whatever.

The Last Of The Real Ones really dropped a lot this week. That’s really fine by me, because it had it’s time at the top. So yeah, I don’t really care.

Speechless jumped up a lot. That’s a good sign for it’s second week. I like it a whole lot more than Tequila, so yay!

Close To Me jumped up into the top 15, and I like it, so I’m happy about that.

Let Me Down Slowly somehow jumped up into the top 10. I actually have no clue how that happened. It’s just so irrelevant.

Hit-Bound

Charli XCX/Troye Sivan - 1999

Gesaffelstein/The Weeknd - Lost In The Fire (DEBUT)

Dean Lewis - Be Alright

Seeb/Bastille - Grip

Stephen Puth - S**ual Vibe

Kelsea Ballerini - Miss Me More

Lauren Daigle - You Say

Jake Miller - Wait For You (DEBUT)

Post Malone - Wow.

Sabrina Carpenter - Sue Me

lovelytheband - maybe, i’m afraid

benny blanco/Calvin Harris - I Found You

Pitbull/Rhea - Ocean To Ocean

Avril Lavigne - Tell Me It’s Over

For the first new song on Hit-Bound, we have Gesaffelstein and The Weeknd with Lost In The Fire. This is a really catchy song. I really like it. I really enjoy The Weeknd’s vocals, and the beat is just amazing. I like it a lot.

Then second, we have some dude named Jake Miller with Wait For You. This one’s okay. I haven’t heard it enough to give a strong opinion on it, but overall it’s pretty catchy. The only problem I have with it is, I have absolutely no clue what he’s saying in the chorus. But other than that, it’s pretty good.

#4: lovelytheband - maybe, i’m afraid

#3: Lauren Daigle - You Say

SPOILER ALERT FOR NEXT WEEK!!!

Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey - The Middle has (finally) left the poll! And we got Sam Smith/Normani - Dancing With A Stranger. (Which I will be giving lots of praise to)

My Predictions

The Middle leaves the countdown.
