Halsey (4)
Well. I have a lot to talk about. I’m participating in a rankdown by Adrian Carrazco. I took that as an opportunity to paste a link of my blog in the comments, which resulted in people ACTUALLY READING my blog. Now if you’re out there reading this, I just want to say thank you so much for supporting me, and this more than I could ever ask for. I’m always open to constructive criticism, because I haven’t been doing this for long, and if you want to talk to me, just leave a comment (If that works. If it doesn’t you can contact me on the rankdown page on Adrian’s blog. https://siriusxmhits1weekendcountdown.blogspot.com/p/rankdown-2010s-music-champions.html With that out of the way, let’s get to the countdown!

Last Year’s #1: Taylor Swift/Ed Sheeran/Future - End Game
Our first new song on the countdown, super surprisingly, is Ocean To Ocean by Pitbull and Rhea. I’m super surprised that this one actually debuted. It’s just so bad. I don’t even see the appeal. These two should not be covering Africa. Rhea’s voice is just annoying. I don’t like it. NEXT!!!
Crap. That’s what this next one is. At #38, we have Charli XCX/Troye Sivan - 1999. This one, I just find annoying. It’s nothing special, and I don’t think it deserves to be here. I just don’t really like it.
And next is a long time Hit-Bound veteran. It’s Dean Lewis - Be Alright. This song is just amazing. I really really like it. Dean just has an amazing voice, and I think he’s very talented. This song is spectacular and just shows who he is really well. I really like it.
And then we have at #30, Seeb and Bastille with Grip. At first I thought this was a really weird song, but I’ve actually grown to really like it. Dan Smith sounds spectacular, and I just really like Seeb’s contribution to. I think I like Happier a bit more, but whatever.
And now, we have a Christian song (which I’m pretty happy about) actually debuting on the countdown. It’s Lauren Daigle’s You Say. She just has an amazing voice. I honestly don’t know what else to say here, but that this song is just incredibly good.
Best Debut Of The Week: Seeb/Bastille - Grip
Biggest DROP!!!: Imagine Dragons - Machine (-10): Well, when I saw Bad Liar in the voting poll, I knew this one was done for. Honestly, I don’t care. I know it will probably end Imagine Dragons’ streak of having all there songs hit #1, (They’re at 4. Believer, Thunder, Whatever It Takes and Natural) But I didn’t really like it as much as the others, so whatever.
Biggest Jump: benny blanco/Calvin Harris - I Found You AND Mark Ronson/Miley Cyrus - Nothing Breaks Like A Heart (+9): Alright, we have a tie for the biggest jump. I Found You I honestly couldn’t care less about, because I don’t like it, but I don’t hate it. Now, for Nothing Breaks Like A Heart, I’m super happy for that one, because I really like it, and it wasn’t doing to well.

Blurbs To Blurbs
For the songs that left, we lost Little Mix/Nicki Minaj - Woman Like Me, Camila Cabello - Consequences, Silk City/Dua Lipa - Electricity, Steve Aoki/BTS - Waste It On Me and Lauv/Julia Michaels - There’s No Way. I didn’t care about Waste It On Me or There’s No Way, I was sad Woman Like Me dropped off so quickly, ‘cause I actually liked it, I’ll have to say, I was actually surprised Consequences dropped off, although I know Camila Cabello is capable of much more, and I didn’t like Electricity.
Limitless is not looking to good. I didn’t expect it to do well, but still…
breathin is pretty much dead, sadly. thank u, next definitely killed it.
Natural made an unexpected jump up back into the top 15, for reasons I don’t understand.
thank u, next jumped into the top 5. I have to say, this one is probably going to hit #1.
I actually think High Hopes could maybe dethrone Without Me for one week, before thank u, next hits #1 because I think it’s just really blowing up everywhere, and people really like it.
#1 Recommendation For Hits 1: SHAED - Trampoline
Most Missed Countdown Song: Avicii/Aloe Blacc - Wake Me Up

Kelsea Ballerini - Miss Me More
Stephen Puth - S**ual Vibe
Ariana Grande - 7 rings (DEBUT)
Sam Smith/Normani - Dancing With A Stranger
Post Malone - Wow.
Lauv/Troye Sivan - i’m so tired… (DEBUT)

Avril Lavigne - Tell Me It’s Over
Travis Scott/Drake - SICKO MODE
Guess what? With 5 new countdown songs, we get 5 new Hit-Bound songs that I have to review! Yay… :(
Anyways, for our first new Hit-Bound song, we have one that I’ve been requesting for a while. It’s Bad Liar by Imagine Dragons. This song is hands-down the best song off of Origins. I just absolutely love it. Dan Reynolds just shows off his voice so well here. The chorus is amazing and I can definitely see this one debuting next week.
Then we have one I’ve never heard before this week. It’s Rita Ora’s Let You Love Me. Like I said, I haven’t heard this one a lot, but I really like it so far. It’s just pretty good.
And just like that, we get Panic! At The Disco’s 4th single off of Pray For The Wicked, (Which I highly suggest you check it out. It’s really good) Dancing’s Not A Crime. This is my second favourite song off of the album (Right behind Dying In L.A.) And I just really like it. It is great and Brendon Urie really shows his voice off well here.
And with that, we also get the third single off of thank u, next by Ariana Grande, 7 rings. Kill me. This one is just so annoying. The lyrical content is terrible and not well thought through, and Ariana doesn’t even show off her voice here. I just absolutely hate this one.
I don’t know if it’s a trend or something to put all of the words in your songs lowercase, but I know it started with lovelytheband, and then Ariana Grande started doing it, then Billie Eilish, and now I guess Lauv and Troye Sivan because i’m so tired… does exactly that. That being said, this is a pretty good song, but I just don’t have a strong opinion on it yet.
