5 Seconds Of Summer (5)

So, it turns out Spyder was at his honeymoon last week. Which makes sense because he got married the week before last week. (Yeah, that seems kind of obvious to me now, but the thought never crossed my mind. We’ve got a not too great #1 again, but whatever. Biggest DROP!!!: The Chainsmokers/Emily Warren - Side Effects (-12): That’s okay. When this debuted, I didn’t really expect it to do well, since it wasn’t on Hit-Bound. Honestly, this one faded on me. I prefer This Feeling a lot more.
Biggest Jump: Little Mix/Nicki Minaj - Woman Like Me (+14): I really really like this song. I’m happy it got the biggest jump on it’s second week. I talked about it a lot last week, and my opinion hasn’t really changed except for the fact that I like it more.

Blurbs
Big Mistake took quite a tumble to #36. That’s a shame. I really enjoy this song. Oh, well. I don’t think it really got popular anywhere other than Hits 1, so whatever.
Don’t Leave Me Alone rose quite a bit. I also enjoy this song. It’s super fun. I wouldn’t mind seeing it hit the top 15.
My Blood has been slowly rising for quite a bit now. Which means it could drop suddenly at any time now. It’s close to the top 15 now, but I’m not gonna jynx it.
Nervous made it to the top 15. I enjoy this song. It’s fun again. It’s not one of Shawn’s better songs, but I wouldn’t mind seeing it do well here.
And Youngblood hit #1 again. I really don’t think this deserved 5 weeks at the top spot.
It’s okay, but just not that good.
Hit-Bound

James Arthur - Empty Space
Olly Murs - Moves
Dan + Shay - Speechless
Ellie Goulding/Diplo - Close To Me
Imagine Dragons - Machine
5 Seconds Of Summer - Killer Queen
Zara Larsson - Ruin My Life

Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho
New in Hit-Bound, we have the return of Miley Cyrus partnering up with Mark Ronson on Nothing Breaks Like A Heart. It’s nice to see Miley’s steering away from where she was going before, and back to country. I just don’t know how I feel about the country/EDM mash-up, because I think it doesn’t really work. Maybe it’ll grow on me, but not now.
