And here’s the part where I give out the “Best Dropout” award. This award as you may be able to tell, goes to my favorite song out of all of the dropouts. And this month’s award goes to The Struts and Kesha for Body Talks. This song didn’t really deserve to drop out since it was at #21, and I really think it should have been a bigger hit even though it wasn’t.

There were 4 weeks in February this year and there were 8 different songs that made it into the top 5 somewhere. Here they are:

Ariana Grande - thank u, next

Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho

The Chainsmokers/Kelsea Ballerini - This Feeling

Halsey - Without Me

Marshmello/Bastille - Happier

Panic! At The Disco - Hey Look Ma, I Made It

Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes

5 Seconds Of Summer - Youngblood

My favorite of the bunch is definitely Panic! At The Disco’s High Hopes for reasons I hope you guys know by now and my least favorite is Ariana Grande’s thank u, next because the song is pure trash.

For the first two weeks of February our #1 was a song titled Without Me by Halsey for its fourth and fifth weeks. I hate this song. I really wish it never hit #1 and five weeks was just pushing it.

The last two weeks were dominated by This Feeling for its fifth and sixth weeks. I enjoy this song but I just feel like it’s been at #1 for too long.

Now, for my least favorite song of the month. It’s without a doubt 7 rings by Ariana Grande. This song is very pure garbage (that didn’t quite sound as insulting as it did in my head) and it’s musically, lyrically and just overall bad. I was certain when making this decision.

Before I reveal my favorite song of the month, here are some honorable mentions that didn’t quite make it:

The Chainsmokers/5 Seconds Of Summer - Who Do You Love

Dean Lewis - Be Alright

Ellie Goulding/Diplo - Close To Me

James Arthur - Empty Space

Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes

Post Malone/Swae Lee - Sunflower

Seeb/Bastille - Grip

Travis Scott/Drake - SICKO MODE

And now, for the moment you guys have been waiting for: my favorite song of the month. The song taking that title is You Say by Lauren Daigle. This song is just amazing. Her voice sounds really good. The song is really well put together and I’m proud to call it my favorite song of the month. Unfortunately, it’s not looking too good, but… we’ll see!
